The fulvic acid concentration in the caption of Figure 2 ranged from 2.25 to 50 mg/mL, as indicated in the text. The number of phenolic acid groups (1.2 mequiv/g) was calculated as twice the alkali consumption between pH 8 and pH 10, since it is assumed that the phenolic groups are 50% titrated at this point. None of the conclusions of this paper are affected by these errors. ES9620200
