i Glas-Col heating t a p e . . a mile and a half o f i t . . helped solve t h e \ pipe line heating problem for one of the world's m o s t modern atomic power plants. Requirements are stringent, exacting . . close t e m p e r a t u r e control and dependability over a period of several years are a must. • Here are reasons Glas-Col heating tapes fulfill these stringent requirements. 1 . Glas-Col heating tapes are waterproofed with Silicone. έ ΐ . The ribbon type heating element gives a uniform heat input and has a safety factor of several hundred percent over maximum power requirements. O . Fewer temperature controls are needed because " T " connections can be made easily in the side of the tape to cover short branches in a pipe line. 4 . The tapes provide controlled temperature up to 480° F with miniature thermostats which give dependable performance over a period of several years. 8
