Pyridine derivatives R 0380 DOI: 10.1002/chin.201637117 Improved Synthesis of Electron Deficient Bipyridines. — The use of stoichiometric 37- 117 Ni(II) significantly improves yields over those previously reported for the preparation of two CF3-substituted electron deficient bipyridine ligands.
