New Editorial Advisory Board Members Jana Milford is an associate professor of mechanical engineering and a member of the Center for Combustion and Environmental Research at the University of Colorado–Boulder. Her research involves air pollution modeling, atmospheric chemistry, and air quality management. Recent projects include modeling volatile organic compounds and forest fire emissions, evaluating alternative fuels for motor vehicles, and examining the effects of subsonic aircraft on the upper troposphere. Bruce E. Rittmann is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Northwestern University. His research focuses on environmental biotechnology, including ecological variety and stability of biofilms and biodegradation of hazardous organic micropollutants, such as petroleum in contaminated groundwater aquifers.
