A Basis for Improving and Evaluating Chemistry Courses
Good teachers are always concerned about the effo~t~iveness of the courses they teach. They devote much time and thought t,o analyzing the educational process as it operates in their classrooms. Although such analyses are based on few and uncertain fact,s, modifications are frequently made bot,h in course content and in teaching procedures. Furthermore, data to support statement,^ on horn a course has been improved as a consequence are seldom available. It is expected that students in a course will increase their understanding, ]
