A Computer lnterfacing Course Using the Commodore 64 Bright Lowry and Howard Thomas Erskine College Due West. SC 29639 We would like to report on a one-month computer interfacing course for undergraduates we taught recently using the Commodore 64 microcomputer and custom-designed interfacing boards. Formal lectures (2 hourslday) and laboratory experiments (4-5 hourslday) were held for the first two weeks: the last two weeks were spent on interfacing projects. The course outline is given in the table. The Commodore 64 has three worts that can he used for sricnrific interraring: rhr Chme I'orr, the I:ser h r t , and the Exvnnsion Port.
