The Gallenkamp Adiabatic Bomb Calorimeter for the determination of calorific value of fuels and foods in accordance with standard methods including ASTM D 240, IP 12 and BS 1016. This is the first and only commercially available set of its kind, reducing by no less than 66% the time and attention spent on other bomb calorimeters. The trick is to raise the tem perature of the calorimeter jacket exactly in step with the rising temperature of the bomb. Not as simple as it sounds, of course. But now achieved, with high precision. RESULT; No heat losses, no corrections, no tedious slavery to the thermometer; less fatigue, fewer sources of error.
