DR. RICHARD W. QUARLES DIRECTOR OF POLYMER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Dr. Quarles is responsible for research and development of new polymers and resins at the Bound Brook Laboratory, which employs approximately 320 employees, 125 of whom are technical. He encourages exploratory work, evaluates new substances for exploitation and helps bring them to the marketing stage. His department works closely with sales and marketing, and in some cases with customers in the development of polymers and resins to meet specific needs.
