The advent of micro techniques for organic chemistry has made micro-glassware a common fixture in the laboratory. One of the most fragile pieces of apparatus is the Craig tube. This tube allows students to isolate small quantities of crystalline material from a mother liquor without using a vacuum or gravity filtration apparatus. An advantage of the Craig tube over macro-like isolation techniques lies in the ability to separate small (
