Tandem MS-MS on a midrange budget has, up until now, meant a Triple Quad of sorts, and trading off price against select ivity, sensitivity and choice of collision energies. With the VG TRIBRID there are no more compromises. Tribrid is a total MS-MS instrument giving performance, ease of use and automation for the price of a Triple Quad. Operational Parameters When we designed Tribrid we included three collision cells, a first field free region cell, a MIKES cell and a quadrupole cell
which means a complete choice of operational parameters. Both low and high energy collisions are now possible within the same instrument. Tribrid has ten times the resolution of a Triple Quad giving higher selectivity. Four times the sensitivity and also the ability to produce accurate mass data at will.
