DICYCLOPENTADIENE High purity Enjay Dicyclopentadiene is being used more and more for chemical processing in a wide variety of applications. This versatile product will combine easily with a large variety of unsaturated acids and aldehydes according to the Diels-Alder reaction, to form cyclic and bi-cyclic compounds. Another unique characteristic of this product is its capacity to produce metallic derivatives such as "Ferrocene." It also lends itself to the production of such products as ketones, f ulvenes and oximes as shown in the illustration above.
