James R. Kramer is professor in the Geology Department of McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. He has worked on the chemistry of the Great Lakes and Precambrian Shield Lakes and is currently interested in aluminum speciation and toxicity to fish. André Tessier is professor of aquatic chemistry at INRS-Eau, a research center of the Université du Québec. His main research interest is in the area of trace metal interactions with aquatic organisms.
