Infrared data are presented showing the adsorption of NH4+ into a sintered porous glass from aqueous solution. Effects due to the anions are discussed and the equilibrium constants K N ~ K KNH~K, , and K N B , N & are deterTined to be 2.06,2.95, and 1.43, respectively. The "pores" in the glass are estimated to be between 2.8 and 4.5 A in diameter.
