Announcements Dear Colleague, The 10th Symposium of Biochromatography will take place on the campus of the University of Sciences and Technologies of Lille at the Ecole Nationale Supe´rieure de Chimie de Lille, in Lille, France, from Wednesday, April 26, 2006 to Friday, April 28, 2006. The conference addresses recent developments in a variety of emerging fields, from fundamental concepts to applications across all branches of chromatography from nanoseparation to macropurification and from small molecules to biomolecules. More precisely, nine sessions are planned as follows: (i) theory of chromatography and modeling, (ii) preparative chromatography, (iii) miniaturization, (iv) new stationary phases, (v) electrically driven separation, (vi) polymer analysis, (vii) biomolecules (metabolomics, genomics, and proteomics), (viii) small molecules (food, environmental, chirality, and toxicology), and (ix) Young Scientists in Biochromatography session. In plenary lectures, we have the pleasure of introducing exciting scientific programs presented by Boguslaw Buszewski (Poland), Gert Desmet (Belgium), Angelika Go¨rg (Germany), Johannis Kamerling (The Netherlands), Claude Netter (France), Ge´rald Rozing (Germany), Pat Sandra (Belgium), and Francois Schwind (Belgium).
