Announcement: Organometallics Symposium, 2012 (Philadelphia ACS Meeting, August 19 23) tarting next year, Organometallics will begin to host a series of symposia that will engage our author community. Toward this end, the ACS Divisions of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry have generously agreed to sponsor a total of two sessions at the upcoming Philadelphia ACS meeting (August 19 23, 2012). Each session will feature a senior speaker, designated as an “Organometallics Lecturer”. It is intended that one will have a more organic research focus and the other a more inorganic research focus. The remaining speakers in each session will be selected from investigators who have published their first papers as corresponding authors in Organometallics during the previous four years. These will be designated as “Organometallics Fellows”. For the Philadelphia symposium, the eligibility window will extend from the first March issue of 2008 through an ASAP posting date of February 15, 2012. Authors from all countries will be considered on an equal basis, and a diverse group will be sought. The Organometallics Lecturers and Fellows will be selected by the Editors. However, suggestions may be directed to the Editor in Chief.
