Aimouncing a nevrç halogenated, phos^prus^ccaitaiiiing latex tnat is flame retardant. Geon 950X1 latex is a new heat-reactive latex that not only serves as a superior binding and coating material, but provides outstanding flame retardance in the bargain. For example, unsupported, fifteen-mil films of Geon 950X1 are self-extinguishing when tested in a vertical position according to TAPPI T461m-45 or ASTM D-777. Other tests are equally impressiveThis flame-retardance is obtained without compounding. The degree of flame retardance can be increased by compounding with antimony oxide» Geon 950X1 is a halogenated, phosphorus-containing polymer* It cures at lower temperatures than typical heat-reactive latexes. It is soft, washable and dry cleanable, and has good abrasion resistance. Please contact us for technical data. B.F.Goodrich Chemical Company, a division of The B. F.Goodrich Company, Dept.
