Announcing: A new chemistry to give foam makers new processing latitude (... another Dow Corning

It's to be expected that Dow Corning would develop the surfactant that makes flexible urethane foam easier, more profitable to produce . . . be cause we made the surfactant that made one-shot rigid foams practical. And now we have the one —new Dow Corning® 190 surfactant — that helps flexible foam makers live with troublesome production variables. For years the flexible urethane foam industry needed exact ingre dient ratios and production con ditions to make good, uniform foam. Water, catalyst, surfactant, blowing agent, blending method, mixing

rate —all had to be rigidly controlled within precise limits. Any variation often resulted in bad f o a m . . . or no foam. But new Dow Corning 190 surfactant permits broader formula deviations, wider catalyst tolerance and greater production versatility than any other surfactant available. This silicone-glycol cell control additive allows steady production despite temperature and humidity fluctua tions; assures foam uniformity from lot-to-lot; holds scrap to new lows.

If you're in the flexible foam industry, write for details on new Dow Corning 190 sur factant. Write Dept. 1844, Chemical Products Division, Dow Corning Corporation, Midland, Michigan 48641.
