• FELLOWSHIP STIPEND UP TO $40,000 • INSTITUTIONAL GRANT UP TO $15,000 Applicants must be: • African American • Appointed as a postdoctoral fellow during the 1996 calendar year at an academic institution or a non-academic institution, such as the National Institutes of Health or the Centers for Disease Control • Committed to conduct research at a Merck research facility for a minimum of three months • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
