Clearly Superior Membrane Filtration Anotec Controlled Capillary Pore Inorganic Membrane Filters were Tested and Compared to Other Membrane Filters Here are the results:

U n l i k e p o l y m e r i c m e m b r a n e filters with a tortuous structure, the Anotec I n o r g a n i c M e m b r a n e is a h i g h p u r i t y a l u m i n a m a t r i x w h i c h has a n e x ­ t r e m e l y n a r r o w c o n t r o l l e d p o r e size distribution. Using a Coulter Porometer, A n o t e c m e m b r a n e filters were tested against t h e l e a d i n g m e m b r a n e filters o n t h e m a r k e t . Test results c o n f i r m e d t h a t t h e p o r e size d i s t r i ­ b u t i o n f o r t h e A n o t e c m e m b r a n e is m o r e c l o s e l y c e n t e r e d a r o u n d its 0.2 μνη r a t e d v a l u e . In a d d i t i o n , e a c h of these f i l t e r s w e r e f u r t h e r tested w i t h 0.23 m i c r o n latex b e a d s . T h e A n o t e c Inorganic Membrane completely r e t a i n e d all of t h e beads. In c o n t r a s t , t h e r e t e n t i o n c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s of p o l y ­ m e r i c m e m b r a n e s varied c o n s i d e r ­ a b l y w i t h a substantial p o r t i o n of the s a m e latex beads p a s s i n g t h r o u g h .
