This provides a very high d e g r e e of reproducibility. The high-voltage source utilizes 240 s p a r k trains p e r second of short duration for excellent s a m p l i n g ; the low voltage source, 60 a r c d i s c h a r g e s p e r second of long duration for high sensitivity. A w i d e r a n g e of circuit constants c a n b e i u r n i s n e a to p r o v i a e optimum conditions for any type of sample to be analyzed. Adequate in­ tensity is provided for all applications with a d i r e c t - r e a d i n g instru­ ment or with any type of spectrograph.
