S P E C T R O P H O T O M E T E R , Turner M o d e l 3 3 0 . Diffraction g r a t i n g monochromator provides fixed 10 ιημ bandwidth. Solid-state a.c. power supply and ampli fier. Meter reads in absorbance a n d transmittance. Photometric accuracy ± 1 % T ; repeatability ± 0 . 2 5 % . Visible Range model covers 335-710 ιημ range. Stray light is held to less than 0.5%. Narrow bandwidth and low stray light result in resolution superior to that provided by instruments of comparable price. Useful for clinical and other routine testing. Sturdiness and sim plicity of operation make the instrument suitable for industrial and educational use. Setting of 100% Τ is accomplished by adjusting voltage input to tungsten lamp; feedback regulator circuit en sures stable performance. Output signal of 1 volt is pro vided for recorder or external readout. Wavelength range can be extended to 1000 ιημ by substitution of plug-in, near-IR photodiode, offered as accessory. Ultraviolet lamp is available to extend range to 210 ιημ; information on request. Sample holder takes cuvette 13 mm o.d. χ 100 mm long. Holder for cuvettes 19 mm χ 105 or 150 mm, is offered separately. Cuvettes not supplied.
