BECKMAN NEW MODEL H-2
GLASS E L E C T R O D E pH
METER
With extended voltage range 0 to 1400 millivolts for potentiometric measurements, and with polarizing current available for Karl Fischer and similar titrations
4923-F.
4923-B.
BECKMAN pH METER, Model H-2, line operated. A rugged, self-con tained, direct reading instrument, with vacuum tube voltmeter type circuit, op erating directly from standard 115-volt a.c. lines. For continuous pH measure merits, acid-alkali titrations, etc. Overlapping scales read from p H 0 to 8 and from p l l 6 to 14 in 0.1 p H divisions, and can be converted into millivolt measurements by use of a multiplier of 100. The desired range is selected by means of a seven-point panel switch. In general, a practical accuracy of ±0.05 p H can be expected over the range to p H 9.5. For use in the range p H 9 to 14, Type Ε glass electrode, with low sodium ion error, is recommended. With built-in temperature compensator, adjustable continuously over the range 0 to 100° C. Case is of cast aluminum, with crystal gray enamel finish, weight approx. 13 lbs. Polarizing current of approx. 10 microamperes is available at the glass electrode terminal — by means of an adapter at $2.00 extra — for use in Karl Fischer and similar titrations. 4923-B.
Beckman pH Meter, Model H-2, for a.c. line operation, as above described, complete with shielded glass electrode, calomel electrode, electrode holder, Pyrex beaker 50 ml, 100 ml bottle of saturated KC1 solution and 1 pt. of Buffer Mixture pH 7.0. With 5-ft. cord and fused plug; for use on 100 to 130-volt, 50 to 60 eye, a.c. only 195.00
4923-F.
