MS 9 opens up new fields of discovery in organic chemistry The latest addition to the ΑΕΙ range of mass spectrometers is the MS 9—a double focusing, high resolution instrument specially designed for the examination of organic compounds, The MS 9 gives resolving power in excess of any other commercial instrument—it has a resolving power greater than 15,000. An accuracy of mass measurement of a few parts in a million makes it possible to obtain more precise information on the atomic composition of ions in the mass spectrum of an organic compound than has previously been possible. Another important advantage of the MS 9 is that only very small samples need be used, often less than a microgram. We would like to tell you more about this equipment, so please write for leaflet.
