Canadian Conference on Radiochemistry The National Research Council of Canada and the Chemical Institute of Canada are jointly sponsoring a conference on radiochemistry to be held at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ont., May 15, 16, and 17. Sessions will be devoted to the work of the Chalk River atomic energy station, chemistry of the higher elements, tracers, fission products and their radiochemistry, radiation chemistry, and radioactive tracers. Exhibits are also planned. Details can be obtained from R. V. V. Nicholls, Department of Chemistry, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, who is serving with H. G. Thode, McMaster University, and L». G. Cook, representing the National Research Council, on the committee for arrangements.

Natural Gasoline Association Convention The twenty-sixth annual convention of the Natural Gasoline Association of America is to be held at the Baker Hotel, Dallas, Tex., April 23, 24, and 25. With "broader use of light ends" the theme of the program, cycling operation, general, motor fuel, and nontechnical sessions will be held. A question-and-answer session with a panel of about 13 experts in various fields has been organized for April 25. H. W. Harts, Warren Petroleum Corp., Tulsa, Okla., is chairman of the program committee for t h e convention.
