Its shortcomings are understandable, because it was originally designed to hold compressed gases, not aluminum alkyls. In your laboratory, the ALKYLTAINER sample bottle should be a joy to use, compared to any other container: Diptube removal of product is accomplished by simply connecting a nitrogen source to the side vent, which allows you to pressure product out the top valve at a controlled rate. We can supply a properly designed diptube as an accessory, if desired. Syringe removal can be accomplished outside the dry box if desired, again by attaching a nitrogen source to the side vent. Pipetting is easily performed because of the large 1/2" dia. opening. (The use of glass pipettes or other fragile devices is not recommended due to the chance of breakage and concomitant spills, except in a dry box.)
