CONTINUOUS REACTION HYDROGENATION EQUIPMENT The packaged Continuous Reaction Hydrogénation equipment shown above is a typical unit, consisting of catalyst chambers, arranged for series-tandem or independent operation, with high and low temperature separators. Volumetric capacity of catalyst chambers is 2 liters each. The feed capacity of pump is 2.4 gallons per hour. This unit was designed for operation at 5000 p.s.i., and 1000° F. maximum temperature. The pressure and-temperaturc are automatically controlled and recorded. Autoclave Engineers, Inc. are specialists in equipment for high pressure reactions for research and pilot plant operation, both for continuous and single pass (batch) work with suspended or fixed bed catalysts, including high and low temperature separators and solvent extractors . for operation at temperatures as high as 1000° F. and prèssures up to 50,000 p.s.i. Capacity charging rates can be adapted to Research or Pilot plant use.

Compact
Balance
Designed to meet the need for an inexpensive instrument on which the student can perform all experiments involving balance technique, this balance also has features that make it highly practical for use in many other fields. Among users of the Adams Compact Balance are dispensing physicians, photographers, and industrial and technical laboratories. It finds wide application as an auxiliary balance . . . is used extensively where a balance of compact design and sensitivity to 1 0 mg. is needed. Capacity: 1 0 0 grams.

The balance and complete set of weights are enclosed in an attractive, compact box which is easily stored in a laboratory drawer when not in use. In use, the beam support is inserted in the metal socket in the box, and the beam is placed on it. A n eccentric beam release with knob sets the pans at rest for addition of weights.

The pointer has a black oxidized finish so that it can be clearly seen against the white scale as a background. The pointer carries a movable bar for adjustment of the zero point and a collar for adjustment of sensibility.
CARRIED IN STOCK: A complete line of valves and fittings, for pressures of 6,000 to 100,000 p.s.i. W e also engineer and manufacture autoclaves with capacities of 1 liter to 20 gallons operating at pressures from 6000 to 15.000 p.s.i.
