Better Vacuum Filtration with Bicycle Tube An approximately 10-cm piece of a used bicycle tube
can be used for better and rapid vacuum filtration as compared to a rubber filtration disc or ring, which are more expensive and sometime not available. Also, the same tube can be used for different sizes of funnels and crwihles. whereas the irlrratiun discs or ring* are different for hfferent aimr of funnels and crucit,lre. Details are given in figure.
