Biographical Sketches Taku Watanabe received a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida working on thermal transport properties in nuclear fuel materials and diamond. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology working on metal−organic frameworks for gas separation and storage. David S. Sholl is the Michael E. Tennenbaum Family Chair and GRA Eminent Scholar in Energy Sustainability in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also an Associate Director of Georgia Tech’s Strategic Energy Institute. Prior to his appointment at Georgia Tech, he was on the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University for 10 years. His research uses computational materials modeling to accelerate the development of new materials for energy-related applications.
