The surface coverages originally reported in Table 1 were incorrectly calculated at twice their actual values due to an error in implementing the Sauerbrey equation for double-sided quartz crystal microbalance measurements.1 The correct values are shown below. Chemical yields for conversion of 6 to 7 and of 7 to 8 are unchanged, and surface coverages measured remain slightly higher than those obtained for alkanethiols on gold. Table 1.
