Recording Differential Refractometer New unit is designed for process monitoring, quality control, and other purposes in measuring extremely small differences in index of refraction of liquids. The analyzer section is mounted in a standard strip chart re corder, combining the entire system in one unit. Index of refraction changes as small as 7 X l(h 7 units can be measured. Full scale ranges as small as 0.0003 and as broad as 0.16 index of refraction units are possible. The null balance principle is used, and the instrument has a zero drift of less than 3 X 10 β units in 24 hours. Batch or continuously flowing samples are ana lyzed, and the instrument is insensitive to changes in ambient or sample tem perature, according to the company. Waters Associates. P-24
Two-Dial Balance Model DLT-3 combines weight load ing with fine dial weighing. Up to nine grams can be added in one-gram in crements without picking up or moving any weights. Turning a second dial for fine weighing permits instant readings
