WE MADE A SMALL MAJOR IMPROVEMENT TO THE WORLD'S BEST MASS FLOW CONTROLLER. Nobody asked for a better 5850E. The original had already set a new standard for minimal overshoot and fast réponse (less than 3 seconds to within 2% of full scale for a 0 -100% command change). It already handled flow rates from 3 seem to 30 slpm. It was already attitude insensitive for easy mounting, and had a removable sensor for easy maintenance. What some people did ask for was a more adaptable 5850E. One that could bring that high performance to a broader range of applications.
