The TURNER-BURRELL ADSORPTION FRACTIONATOR provides α means of separating, identifying, measuring and collecting the components of light hydrocarbon gas mixtures and record ing the analytical d a t a . The analysis is graphically presented in curve form. The operating technique is simple and unskilled personnel may be readily trained to follow standardized procedures. The equipment will automatically follow a pre-selected program permitting the operator to be absent from the laboratory during the major portion of the analysis. The automatic controls are positive. Inherent characteristics of adsorption fractionation, along with specialized developments in equipment design, afford im portant advantages in range of application and simplicity of operation. The apparatus is a self-contained unit 7 8 inches high, 4 2 inches wide and 21 inches deep, weighing 5 0 0 pounds. There are no accessory assemblies and no refrigerants are required. A single electric connection only is needed.
