The Technology Division of the GCA Corporation will analyze the extent of contamination at two hazardous waste dump sites: the Kin Buc Landfill in Edison, N.J·, and the PAS hazardous waste incinerator in Oswego, N.Y., under a $200 000 contract from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Klinische Chèmie will award a second DM 10 000 prize in honor of the late Gabor Szasz for outstanding advances in the field of clinical enzymology with special bearing on methodological or theoretical progress.
