Three sessions have been set aside for contributed papers. Two of these are for oral presentations and one is for posters. One of the oral sessions is designated as a Young Investigator Session. Poster presentations can also be designated for consideration in the Young Investigator category. Awards will be given to graduate student and postdoctoral researchers (within 5 years of receiving their Ph.D.) for the best oral and poster presentations in the Young Investigator category. Those wishing to be considered for Young Investigator awards should notify Dr. Gates of their intent by e-mail (
[email protected]). Presenters also may request that their work be included in the SciMix poster session, but final decisions will be made by the Program Committee.
