These electrodes are formed by pyrolysis of methane inside of hot quartz The tip bfllbd with epoxy and cleaved to expose a rlngahaped carbon M r o d e . The small total dlmenslon of these electrodes should make them unique for voltammetric meaclurements in ultrasmall environments. Voltammograms obtained at these electrodes are slgmoldal at low scan rates (
