Career counseling conferences on campus
Reagents group to mull testing methods ACS Committee on Analytical Reagents will meet Oct. 28-29, at ACS headquarters in Washington, D.C, to consider specifications and testing methods for chemicals used as reagents in analytical testing. These will be compiled in a new edition of "Reagent Chemicals—ACS Specifications." The committee would like suggestions of additional reagents for which it should provide specifications and testing methods. Contact the committee chairman, Wallace G. Once again this fall the Younger Chemists Committee is presenting regional chemical career counseling conferences (nicknamed Roadshows) on host college campuses throughout the U.S. These programs are designed to describe career opportunities for chemists in industry and government and are aimed at undergraduate and graduate students and their faculty in chemistry and chemical-related fields. Advance registration for these programs is required since attendance is
