PRODUCTION
Paraformaldehyde in powder form is now offered by Ceianese a t a new low cost. Several grades a r e now in production to meet the requirements of nearly every industrial application. Paraformaldehyde—in powder grades a n d in flake form-—is a new Ceianese product. Produced by a unique, low cost process, it opens the w a y to new develop ments a n d improvements in the resin, rubber, textile a n d organic synthesis fields. The new powder form supplements flake production by offering the advantages of high uniform reactivity a n d low water content to users v/hose application demands small particle size. N e w low prices for both products makes possible new applica tions such as bactericides a n d fungicides in agricultural uses.
