M o s t of t h e other official hotels have space available, but it is expected t h a t nearly all rooms will be reserved very shortly.

Since there appears t o b e an extensive d e m a n d for these issues, the directors authorized t h e Executive Secretary t o enter into a contract with J o h n s o n Reprint C o r p . , 125 E a s t 23rd St., N e w York City, t o reprint a n d sell t h e first 25 volumes of this j o u r n a l . T h e reprint s e t will include t h e ''Proceedings of the, American Chemical Society,' 7 1S76 t o 1878; t h e Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1879 t o 1903; a n d t h e General I n d e x t o Volumes I - X X . T h e price will be §12.50 per volume o r S300 for t h e complete set. Publication date is announced a s Aug. 1, a n d orders are now being accepted.
