Other CHED Meeting Activities

These Division of Chemical Education (CHED) Committee meetings and events are planned for the Spring 2006 ACS Meeting in Atlanta. Most will take place in the Omni Hotel, 100 CNN Center; 404/659-0000 with the exception of Sunday’s Social Hour and Poster Session, which will be at Georgia Congress Center, Hall B4. The Undergraduate Poster Sessions will also be held in the Georgia Congress Center, Hall B4.

CHED Booth at the exposition: Booths 301–303 at the Exposition in the Convention Center will represent JCE, JCE Software, the CHED Examinations Institute, CHED Outreach efforts, and other CHED activities. Stop by Monday and Tuesday (9 a.m.–5 p.m.) or Wednesday (9 a.m.–1 p.m.). CHED Social Hour and Banquet: Social Hour is 6 p.m., Saturday, March 25; dinner follows at 6:30 p.m. Both are at Max Lagers American Grill & Brewery, 320 Peachtree Street (at Andrew Young Boulevard). ACS ticket SE-01, $45. High School Program: This program will be held Sunday, March 26, in the Omni Hotel, International Ballroom D. High School Luncheon: The luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, March 26, from noon–1:15 p.m. in the Omni Hotel, International Ballroom D. ACS ticket SE-02, $28. Social Hour and Poster Session: Sunday evening, March 26, 7:30–9:30 p.m., Georgia Congress Center, Hall B4.
