Chemicals Ninhydrin Reagent Trione Ninhydrin Reagent for automatic amine analysis gives a Beer's law re sponse and determines secondary amines in samples containing 1 nmol per constituent. The chromatographic base line is relatively insensitive to changes in eluent normality and column temperature. The reagent is based on a solubilizing agent that yields an almost colorless product, usable at tempera tures greater than 140 °C. Trione con tains no DMSO and so does not swell or deteriorate the elastomers employed in valves and seals.
