(ACS) is the host society this year and welcomes its partners from around the Pacific basinthe Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ), the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry (NZIC), the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), the Korean Chemical Society (KCS), and the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). The theme for this meeting is Chemical Networking: Building Bridges Across the Pacific. Motivated by the theme of chemical networking, we hope to meet as many authors, readers, and reviewers of Chemistry of Materials as possible during this event. Several of our editors and many members of our editorial advisory board (EAB) will be in attendance.2 One of us, ER, has been involved with organization of the meeting for over 10 years, is Finance Chair for this meeting, and is the Topic Chair for Macromolecular Chemistry. The schedule of talks given by editors of Chemistry of Materials (Table 1) and symposia they have helped organize (Table 2) are summarized hereplease look us up, introduce yourselves, and say hello. Best wishes for a great Pacifichem.
