Corrections Chemokine Signaling Specificity: Essential Role for the N-Terminal Domain of Chemokine Receptors, by Gregory N. Prado, Katsutoshi Suetomi, David Shumate, Carrie Maxwell, Aishwarya Ravindran, Krishna Rajarathnam, and Javier Navarro*, Volume 46, Number 31, August 7, 2007, pages 8961-8968. We wish to clarify that the receptor chimeras described in this paper were constructed using rabbit CXCR1 and human CXCR2, as indicated in Experimental Procedures. Our data were compared to those published by Nasser et al. [(2007) J. Biol. Chem. 282, 6906-6915], in which the chimeras were created using human CXCR1 and human CXCR2. It is possible that the different results reported in the two papers could be due to the distinct sequence differences in the amino termini between rabbit and human CXCR1.
