• EDP scanning microscope can produce either isophoto contour plots or electronically e n h a n c e d photomicrographs containing 5 0 0 , 0 0 0 sampling points in under 5 min, at magnifications from 1:1 to 1 0 0 0 : 1 . The image data are digitized for computer processing. The instrument can also be used to make standard one-dimensional microdensit o m e t e r t r a c e s . The Quantaoomp-D is a single-unit system which automatically and accurately computes, graphically records, and prints true quantities of separate substances when used with chromatogram/electrophoretogram scanners. Model SDC 500 requires only scanner output analog voltages of substances separated. Plug-in modules provide baseline programming, function generation, and other functions available as options.
