research work. Any of us will be happy to give you advice on your potential submissions. By working together, JPCL editors, EAB members, and authors will greatly increase the impact of JPCL. We invite you to be part of our success in the Year of the Pig! Happy Spring Festival, and good luck to you and your family.

reetings and best wishes for the Chinese New Year from JPCL’s editors and your local Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) members (see Figure 1). This year we are promoting the strengths of JPCL globally, and we encourage you to submit your best papers in physical chemistry-related topics. Advantages to authors include very rapid publication of your work approximately 5 weeks on average but less than 2 weeks for the top submissions (with expedited peer review or by considering your response to previous reviews)and the prestige of publishing in the top journal for the physical chemistry field. JPCL covers a range of topics at the interface of chemistry, physics, and materials science, where significant new discoveries and new physical insights are highlighted. Topics include catalysis, materials and devices of optoelectronics, electronic structure of batteries, theory and simulations of dynamics, advanced spectroscopy and characterization techniques, lowdimensional materials and topological materials, energy conversion processes, biophysics, optical science, surfaces and interfaces, and magnetic resonance. Our inaugural independent EAB was announced in the previous editorial, “JPCL: A Dynamic Journal with a Global Reach” (10.1021/acs.jpclett.8b03623). Responding rapidly to our goal of engaging the EAB in journal strategy, we held a special EAB meeting for Chinese members on January 15, 2019, where we discussed how best to serve authors in China and highlight your top
