VII. Chromatographic Glossary The field of chromatography has ehown more rapid and sustained growth during the past two decades than any other area of experimental chemistry. As a. cunsequence, only a small part of the existing information and methodology has been organized in texts and monographs, and the user of chromatographic techniques must resort frequently to the original journal literature in order to find the data and procedures pertinent to his work. Multi-lingud glossaries of the special terminology of this field are an invsluahlr aid in t,his connection, and there is presented here twosuch glossaries, each in four languages.
