Correction to “Adsorption of the Prototype Anionic Anthraquinone, Acid Blue 25, on Modified Banana Peel: Comparison with Equilibrium and Kinetic Ligand−Receptor Biochemical Data” Maria Giovanna Guiso, Raffaela Biesuz, Teresa Vilariño, Marta López-García, Pilar Rodríguez Barro,* and Manuel E. Sastre de Vicente Ind. Eng. Chem. Res. 2014, 53, 2251−2260 (DOI: 10.1021/ie402900n) We have noticed a typographical error in our recent paper, “Adsorption of the Prototype Anionic Anthraquinone, Acid Blue 25, on a Modified Banana Peel: Comparison with Equilibrium and Kinetic Ligand−Receptor Biochemical Data”, by Maria Giovanna Guiso et al. Page 2255: In our published paper, the second paragraph on this page has the following statement: “Consequently, values comprised between 1.06 × 105 and 1.89 × 105 (m2/g) are obtained for the specific surface area of the banana peel.” However, there is a typographical error in the exponent term given for the magnitude of the specific surface area of banana peel. It should read as follows: “Consequently, values comprised between 1.06 × 102 and 1.89 × 102 (m2/g) are obtained for the specific surface area of the banana peel”.
