an and co-workers recently reported the synthesis of (±)-cephalezomine H and indicated that there was partial misassignment in the 13C NMR spectrum of (−)-cephalezomine H (10) that we synthesized (page 7594).1 A signal of δ 30.8 ppm in our spectrum was based on an impurity because this signal was not detected in Fan’s spectrum. We had inadvertently overlooked a signal of δ 49.6 ppm due to overlapping with one of the signals based on residual CHD2OD [δ 49.3 (quint J = 21.1 Hz)] in CD3OD. The corrections below do not affect the conclusion of our original paper. We apologize for any inconvenience to the scientific community that these mistakes may have caused. Page 7594: In the 13C NMR data list of 10, δ 33.3 ppm should be δ 33.2 ppm. Therefore, the corrected 13C NMR data list of 10 is as follows: 13C NMR (125 MHz, CD3OD) δ 20.3, 32.0, 33.2, 44.2, 49.6, 55.4, 60.2, 67.5, 72.4, 77.2, 102.0, 111.2, 113.1, 131.3, 134.9, 147.4, 147.8. In the 1H NMR data list of 10, δ 5.85 (br s, 2H) should be δ 5.857 (d, J = 1.2 Hz, 1H) and 5.850 (d, J = 1.2 Hz, 1H). “13C NMR (500 MHz, ...)” in the Experimental Section (pp 7593−7594 and the Supporting Information) should be “13C NMR (125 MHz, ...)”.
