Correction to “Electrochemical Synthesis and Deposition of Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering-Active Silver Microstructures on a Screen-Printed Carbon Electrode” Yang-Wei Lin* and Chung Tang J. Phys. Chem. C 2015, 119 (37), pp 24865−24874. DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpcc.5b08375 n our original article, errors in two figures were found in the high-resolution X-ray diffraction spectrum of substrate 1 (Figure S3a) and SERS spectra of Cy3 from dsDNA adsorbed on substrate 2 (Figure 7d). Neither error affected the reported conclusions in the article.

I

Figure S3. High-resolution X-ray diffraction spectra of (a) substrate 1 and (b) substrate 2.

Figure 7. SERS spectra of (a) DTNB, (b) 4-ATP, (c) adenine, and (d) Cy3 from dsDNA adsorbed on substrate 2.

Before correction, Figure S3a showed the high-resolution X-ray diffraction spectrum of substrate 1 fabricated by cycling the potential from −0.3 to +0.3 V versus Ag/AgCl in a 10 mM AgNO3 aqueous solution at 2.5 mV s−1 for 15 scans. According to the reported experimental section, substrate 1 was electrochemically fabricated by applying seven cyclic potential scans from −0.3 to +0.2 V versus Ag/AgCl in a 10 mM AgNO3 aqueous solution at a scan rate of 1.0 mV s−1. Therefore, Figure S3a (as shown here) should be corrected as substrate 1 was electrochemically fabricated by applying seven cyclic potential scans from −0.3 to +0.2 V versus Ag/AgCl in a 10 mM AgNO3 aqueous solution at a scan rate of 1.0 mV s−1. In our original article, Figure 7d showed “SERS spectrum of Cy3-ssDNA adsorbed on substrate 2”. To avoid any misunderstanding, Figure 7d (as shown here) should be replaced and corrected to “SERS spectrum of Cy3 from dsDNA adsorbed on substrate 2”.
