age 34205. There is an error in the experimental conditions for the pulsed current deposition of Ni. In the “Ni PCD” subsection of the Methods section the sentence that reads “The current was pulsed at −50 mA cm−2 for 1 ms followed by 0 mA cm−2 for 99 ms.” should read “The current was pulsed at −50 mA cm−2 for 49.3 ± 2.3 ms followed by 0 mA cm−2 for 154.2 ± 3.3 ms.” This discrepancy does not affect the results and the discussions within the manuscript nor the conclusions that were drawn. The authors apologize for any confusion that may have occurred due to this error.
