Correction to “Filamentous, Mixed Micelles of Triblock Copolymers Enhance Tumor Localization of Indocyanine Green in a Murine Xenograft Model” Tae Hee Kim, Christopher W. Mount, Benjamin W. Dulken, Jenelyn Ramos, Caroline J. Fu, Htet A. Khant, Wah Chiu, Wayne R. Gombotz, and Suzie H. Pun* Mol. Pharmaceutics 2012, 9, (1), 135−143. DOI: 10.1021/mp200381c

ERROR In the original manuscript, we stated in the Materials and Methods section that tumors were generated in the flanks of 6-week-old male Balb/c mice by injection of 2 × 106 MDA-MB435 cells in serum-free IMEM. The stated cell line is incorrect. Instead, the syngeneic colon carcinoma cell line CT-26 was injected. This cell line was cultured in RPMI-1640 medium with FBS and 1% antibiotic/antimycotic, and 2 × 106 CT-26 cells in serum-free RPMI-1640 was injected to the Balb/c mice.

IMPLICATIONS The main findings and conclusions of the manuscript are unchanged. However, researchers looking to repeat the study using the MDA-MB-435 would have difficulties because of the intact immune system in Balb/c mice that would prevent tumor formation. We apologize to the research community for the confusion that this may have caused.
